Drugs, crime and soaring expenses are all issues impacting local businesses.
Those topics and more were discussed at the Power Hour, a conversation held by Peterborough and the Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce recently.
Peterborough-Kawartha MP Michelle Ferreri took part and says she hears about a wide range of challenges while speaking with business leaders.
Ferreri spoke about a planned 23 per cent increase in the tax on April 1st and what impacted it is going to have on local businesses.
The cost of living is another area that Ferreri says really is having an impact on business owners as well as crime.
